I came to a conclusion about running recently when I noticed the smell coming from the clothes hamper belonging to me and the person who allows me to deposit my running attire there.
I thought it was athletic.
She thought it smelled like a bear after rolling in muskeg ponds.
Why we run and where we run is all relative.
Someone’s summit of Mount Arafat with a pack full of gels might be less incredible than another’s trip around the block with their canine pulling them along.
But that is what makes running so special.
Each of us has a goal… or not.
