Ten years ago, an 18-year-old fifth-year senior at Yaakoosge Daakahidi Alternative High School named Will Muldoon launched a quixotic campaign for a seat on the Juneau School District’s Board of Education.
Muldoon came in last in that race, finishing with fewer votes than seven other candidates.
But this year, Muldoon is trying again.
“I still believe in civics and contributing to the community,” said Muldoon, who sits on KTOO News’ board of directors, after filing for the October ballot Monday.
