Juneau-Douglas capped off the softball regular season Friday with a series split with the Wolves in Sitka.

The large schools defending state champion Crimson Bears finished the year 17-2-1, and will begin defense of their title Friday, but the opponent and time has yet to be announced.
Manager Dave Massey said the team did not play well Thursday and might have been a bit distracted.
