Over 100 women, two from each state, spent all day yesterday (Nov. 16) at the third annual Vision2020/Drexel University Congress in downtown Portland.
Portland welcomed us with open arms and enthusiastic support for the initiative's goals. Once I get home to Juneau, I'll write more about the goals, progress made, and some of the great work women are doing around the country.
My issue is equal pay, and I was able to network with other women working on the same goal. Got some great ideas for another video to follow "Be Cool. Negotiate.", which is up on Youtube. I'm grateful to the Juneau and state League of Women Voters who have been so supportive.
Teri Tibbett, the other Alaska delegate, and I were happy to see Andrea Doll, who came down from Anacortes. Andrea Doll, who was the Alaskan delegate until she and Bob moved to Washington.
It has been a packed 48 hours!
