Assault

• At 6:15 p.m. Saturday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a report of an assault in the 100 block of Franklin Street; investigation continues.

• At 6:20 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Travis Ian Johnson, 34, in the 400 block of Third Street for third-degree assault and took him to Lemon Creek Correctional Center, where he was held without bail.

• At 2:29 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a reported fight in the 200 block of Front Street with alcohol involved; investigation continues.

• At 11:56 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a report of an assault in the 8400 block of Nugget Way; investigation continues.

Burglary

• At 5:02 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a burglary report in the 9600 block of Eagle Street and arrested Mark Shilling Jr., 31, for first-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief; he was taken to LCCC.

• At 2:54 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a reported burglary in the 9100 block of Cinema Drive; investigation continues.

Discharge of a firearm

• At 1:34 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a report of negligent discharge of a firearm in the Juneau areas; investigation continues.

Drunken driving

• At 12:08 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a report of driving under the influence on Egan Drive.

Fishing without license

• On Saturday, Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited Megan Keeter, 23, of Juneau for sport fishing for halibut without a license.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 1:30 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a non-injury crash in the 9500 block of Egan Drive; investigation continues.

Theft

• At 12:16 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a report by a 40-year-old woman in the 2200 block of Trout Street regarding the theft of her belongings; investigation continues.

• At 2:45 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a report from a 49-year-old man in the 2600 block of Mendenhall Loop Road regarding the theft of two chainsaws; investigation continues.

• At 1:04 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a report of a theft in the 3400 block of Foster Avenue; investigation continues.

• At 11:11 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a reported theft from a residence in the 2800 block of Postal Way; investigation continues.

Undersized crab

• On Saturday, Alaska Wildlife Troopers contacted Joshua Smith, 37, of Juneau, at Echo Cove after he returned from crabbing. Smith was in possession of 14 under-size male Dungeness crabs and was issued a $390 citation. The crabs were seized and returned to the water unharmed.

Vandalism

• At 12:13 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a report of vandalism in the 9200 block of Glacier Highway that resulted in $100 in property damage; investigation continues.

• At 9:14 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a report of vandalism to a boat in the 1400 block of Harbor Way.
