• At 9:29 a.m. Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a report of a burglary of a local business in the 200 block of Franklin Street; investigation continues.

Domestic dispute

• At 9:38 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a report by a 34-year-old woman of a domestic violence assault in the Juneau area.

Fight

• At 10 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a report in the 5400 block of Lemon Street that two brothers were fighting over Oreo cookies; investigation continues.

• At 10:54 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a reported disturbance in the 400 block of Whittier Street and arrested Aaron James Ettinger, 23, for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after he reportedly fought with the police.

Fire and medical

• On Tuesday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to 11 EMS calls and four medical transports in the area throughout the day.

• At 8:01 a.m. Tuesday, CCFR responded to an active fire alarm on Auke Lake Way, which had been triggered by accident.

• At 10:23 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a fire alarm on Glacier Highway that had been triggered by burned food.

• At 5:36 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters were dispatched to help cool down a vehicle with overheated brakes on Mendenhall Loop Road.

• At 6:22 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters helped a child find his family on Marine Way.

• At 10:10 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a fuel spill on Vintage Boulevard.

Recovery of stolen property

• At 1:39 p.m. Tuesday, JPD located a mountain bike in the 8400 block of Nugget Drive that had been reported as stolen in November.

Theft

• At 4:17 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a report of a stolen purse in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.
