Burglary

• At 4 p.m. Tuesday, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a storage unit burglary in the 5300 block of Shaune Drive.

Conditions violation

• At 3:12 p.m. Tuesday, a 36-year-old woman reported a domestic violence protective order violation.

• At 7:19 p.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of a domestic violence protective order violation.

Domestic violence

• At 6:01 p.m. Tuesday, JPD investigated a report of domestic violence. Alcohol was involved.

• At 10:56 p.m. Tuesday, JPD investigated a report of possible domestic violence. Alcohol was involved.

Misconduct involving weapons

• At 11:03 p.m. Tuesday, JPD received a 911 call from a 24-year-old man, saying he and a 17-year-old boy were camping in the area of Sunshine Cove and believed that someone was shooting firearms in their direction. JPD officers arrived on scene, contacted two men on the roadway, and they had several firearms in their vehicle. They were identified as Eric Gullufsen, 29, and Paul Simpson, 28. Following questioning, Gullufsen and Simpson were arrested for fourth-degree weapons misconduct. Gullufsen was also charged with misconduct involving a controlled substance in the fourth degree. They were taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 1:09 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a damage-only motor vehicle crash in the 600 block of Sixth Street. A citation was issued.

Sex crime

• At 5:53 p.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of a sex crime. Confidential investigation continues.

Shoplift

• At 7:17 p.m. Tuesday, JPD investigated a report of a shoplifter at Foodland IGA.

Suicide

• At 8:31 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to an attempted suicide. Alcohol was involved.

Vandalism

• At 2:04 p.m. Tuesday, a 78-year-old man reported a window to his car had been broken in the 3000 block of Douglas Highway.
