Drug activity

• At 12:23 p.m. Tuesday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the report of drug activity in the 1500 block of Third Street. Information only.

• At 4:44 p.m. Tuesday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into the report of drug activity in the Juneau area.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 2:29 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a hit-and-run motor vehicle collision in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road. Investigation continues.

• At 10:23 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision on Channel Drive. Information only.

Parking

• At 8:03 a.m. Wednesday, JPD impounded a vehicle as a traffic hazard and abandoned vehicle in the 6000 block of Pine Street. A stolen electronic item was located and seized in the vehicle.

Suspicious activity

• At 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the report of suspicious activity in the 2100 block of Cascade Street.

• At 11:22 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the report of criminal trespass at the Four Points Hotel at 52 Egan Drive. Investigation continues.

Theft

• At 1:28 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the report of a theft in the downtown area.

• At 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the report of a theft of a bicycle in the 1600 block of Renninger Street. Investigation continues.

• At 4:01 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the report of a theft in the 100 block of Franklin Street. Investigation continues.

• At 9:09 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 9000 block of Long Run Drive that was later located.

• At 9:17 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the report of theft on Egan Drive. Investigation continues.

Trespassing

• At 2:44 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the report of criminal trespass in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.

Vandalism

• At 7:57 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the report of criminal mischief at the Geneva Woods Apartments in the 1600 block of Douglas Highway. Investigation continues.

Warrant arrest

• At 9:29 a.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested Kelly Anstine, 45, in the 1600 block of Harbor Way on a $50 JPD warrant for failure to appear for a pre-trial hearing. The original charge was larceny. Anstine was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
