Police calls for Monday, Nov. 13, 2017

Fraud

• At 4:31 p.m. Thursday, Juneau Police Department received a report of a fraudulent check being used in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

Sex crime

• At 3:20 a.m. Friday, JPD received a report of a sexual assault in the Juneau area. Alcohol was involved. Investigation continues.

Theft

• At 12:04 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of a stolen bike in the 2800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.

• At 10:11 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of the theft of $50 in merchandise from a business in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road.

• At 10:22 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of theft from a vehicle in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.

• At 10:30 a.m. Friday, JPD received a report of the theft of tools from a vehicle in the 100 block of Franklin Street.

Vandalism

• At 4:55 p.m. Thursday, Monte Nix, 24, was arrested for vandalizing a car with his skateboard in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue. He was arrested, taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and released. Alcohol was involved.
