Domestic violence

• At 10:03 p.m. Sunday, the Juneau Police Department arrested a 38-year-old individual for domestic violence assault in the Juneau area. The person was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held without bail.

Child abuse/neglect

• At 7:42 a.m. Monday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into child abuse in the Juneau area.

Drug use

• At 6:29 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to a report of misconduct in the 300 block of Franklin Street involving controlled substances. Investigation continues.

Fraud

• At 9:27 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to a report of fraud in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 1:21 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the report of a hit-and-run where a pickup truck hit a City and Borough of Juneau streets vehicle in the 2800 block of Riverside Drive. Damage only, no injuries. Investigation continues.

Sex crime

• At 4:01 p.m. Sunday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into a sex crime in the Juneau area. Alcohol was a factor.

Shoplift

• At 2:02 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the report of shoplifting in the 100 block of Franklin Street. Investigation continues.

• At 7:45 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the report of shoplifting from Foodland IGA in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue. Investigation continues.

Theft

• At 8:05 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the report of a stolen vehicle in the 600 block of Seward Street. Investigation continues.

• At 8:56 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the report of a man who reported the theft of a bird-deterrent device in the 1600 block of Harbor Way.

• At 9:46 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the report of a stolen vehicle in the 9400 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.

• At 10:05 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the report of a theft from a mailbox in the 4600 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 10:39 a.m. Monday, a woman, 21, reported that her vehicle was stolen in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.

Vehicle rifling

• At 7:24 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the report of a man, 62, who said his unlocked vehicle was entered and items were taken in the 8800 block of Nancy Street.

Warrant arrest

• At 1:56 a.m. Monday, JPD arrested Justin Osbakken, 26, in the 9000 block of Egan Drive on a $500 warrant. Osbakken was taken to LCCC.

• At 10:44 a.m. Monday, JPD arrested Michael Friedrichs, 28, in the 9400 block of Glacier Highway on a warrant. Friedrichs was additionally charged with false information, resisting arrest, assault and criminal mischief.
