Assault

• At 12:07 p.m. Friday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the report of an assault on Allen Court. Investigation continues.

• At 1:42 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the report of an assault in the 200 block of Franklin Street. Investigation continues.

• At 1:39 a.m. Sunday, JPD arrested Aaron Widmyer, 25, in the 100 block of Franklin Street for disorderly conduct. Alcohol was a factor.

• At 10:55 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the report of an assault on Egan Drive. Investigation continues.

Burglary

• At 7:43 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the report of a burglary of an unoccupied residence in the 2500 block of Douglas Highway. Investigation continues.

• At 5:19 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the report of a burglary from a business in the 5200 block of Stark Street. Investigation continues.

Child abuse/neglect

• At 11:46 a.m. Friday, JPD documented a case of child abuse in the Juneau area and sent it to another agency.

Death

• At 10:22 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to the report of a death of natural causes in the 5100 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 12:31 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the report of a death of natural causes in the 8600 block of Teal Street. Investigation continues.

Domestic violence

• At 6:20 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the report of a domestic violence crime in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

• At 9:54 p.m. Thursday, JPD arrested a 47-year-old woman in the Juneau area for interfering with the report of a domestic violence crime. Alcohol was a factor. She was taken to LCCC and held without bail.

• At 1:50 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the report of an assault in the 2200 block of Trout Street. Investigation continues.

• At 3:09 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested a 40-year-old woman for first-degree assault in the 300 block of Gastineau Avenue. See Sunday’s paper for more.

• At 6:19 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested a 32-year-old individual for domestic violence assault in the Juneau area as well as one count of criminal mischief and two outstanding warrants. The person was taken to LCCC and held without bail.

• At 10:29 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the report of a domestic assault in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

Drug misconduct

• At 4:49 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the report of drug activity in the 5200 block of Commercial Boulevard. Investigation continues.

• At 10:52 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the report of a juvenile under the influence of marijuana at Juneau-Douglas High School. Investigation continues.

Drunken driving

• At 2:40 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Scott Lefoy Jones, 36, in the 6500 block of Douglas Highway for driving under the influence. His blood-alcohol content was 0.219 percent.

• At 4:35 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Lester Anaya, 30, in the 1700 block of Ralph’s Way for driving while intoxicated and refusal to submit to a breath sample. He was taken to LCCC.

Fight

• At 1:28 a.m. Friday, JPD arrested Gerald Primmer, 33, in the 100 block of Franklin Street for a probation violation. Alcohol was a factor.

Fugitive arrest

• At 12:26 p.m. Thursday, JPD assisted another agency in arresting Mark David Thiroux, 26, in the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive for being a fugitive from justice. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Thiroux has an extraditable warrant from Washington for escape, with an original charge for drug possession.

• At 4:40 p.m. Thursday, JPD arrested Paige Taylor, 23, in the 3300 block of Douglas Highway for being a fugitive from justice. Taylor was taken to LCCC and held without bail. Taylor has an extraditable warrant from Oregon for a probation violation, with an original charge for drug possession.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 5:42 p.m. Thursday, JPD documented non-criminal damage to city property in the 3800 block of Kiowa Drive.

• At 6:01 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the report of a motor vehicle crash in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. There were no reported injuries.

Sex crime

• At 3:35 p.m. Thursday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into a sexual assault in the Juneau area.

• At 1:17 a.m. Sunday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into a sexual assault in the Juneau area.

Theft

• At 12:05 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the report of a theft of a laptop in the 100 block of Seward Street. Investigation continues.

• At 4:32 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the report of the theft of microphones and cabling from the Assembly chambers at City Hall between Jan. 25 and Jan. 29. The four black table-top style microphones are worth an estimated $99 each.

• At 9:41 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the report of a stolen firearm in the 5600 block of Thane Road.

• At 11:57 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the report of a man, 67, who reported a stolen bicycle on Egan Drive.

• At 11:40 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the report of a man, 47 who reported a theft in the 17100 block of Point Lena Loop Road.

• At 10:04 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the report of a woman, 57, who reported a theft in the 3000 block of Wood Duck Avenue.

• At 12:50 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the reported theft from a residence in the 1800 block of Northwood Drive. Investigation continues.

Trespassing

• At 8:27 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the report of criminal trespass in the 8600 block of Teal Street and forwarded the report to the City Attorney’s Office for review.

• At 5:09 p.m. Saturday, JPD cited and released Alan Lee, 32, in the 11800 block of Glacier Highway for criminal trespass.

Vandalism

• At 12:24 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the report of damage to a residence in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.

• At 5:54 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the report of vandalism to a residence in the 4100 block of Aspen Avenue.

Warrant arrest

• At 10:58 a.m. Friday, JPD arrested Casey Muir, 31, in the 100 block of Franklin Street on an outstanding $100 Alaska State Troopers warrant. Muir was taken to LCCC. Muir’s warrant was for failing to appear at a court hearing, with an original charge of drug misconduct.

• At 7:35 p.m. Friday, JPD arrested a man for an outstanding warrant, additionally charging him with two counts of assaulting an officer and one count of resisting arrest. See Sunday’s paper for more.

• At 12:52 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Renee Stevens, 36, in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway on an outstanding AST warrant. She was also charged with criminal trespass and larceny, and was taken to LCCC. Stevens’ warrant was for failing to appear for an arraignment with the original charge of the fraudulent use of an access device.
