Burglary

• At 4:57 p.m. Friday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the 400 block of Sixth Street to investigate the report of a burglary. Investigation continues.

•At 9:12 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 400 block of Fifth Street to investigate the report of larceny. Investigation continues.

• At 11:49 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 200 block of Fourth Street to investigate the report of a burglary. Investigation continues.

Conditions violation

• At 12:20 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 11400 block of Auke Bay Harbor Road to investigate the report of a protective order violation.

Drug misconduct

• At 4:12 p.m. Friday, JPD conducted a confidential drug investigation in the Juneau area.

• At 4:34 p.m. Friday, JPD conducted a confidential drug investigation in the Juneau area.

Fraud

• At 8:44 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the report of a theft and fraudulent use of an access device in the downtown area. Alcohol was a factor.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 1:25 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 9200 block of Mendenhall Loop Road to investigate the report of a hit-and-run near the Mendenhall River Bridge. Investigation continues.

• At 11:53 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 2600 block of Mendenhall Loop Road to investigate the report of a motor vehicle crash. Investigation continues.

Reckless endangerment

• At 7:09 p.m. Saturday, JPD cited and released Lucille Hessel, 55, in the 1500 block of Glacier Highway for one count of reckless endangerment. Alcohol was a factor.

Shoplifting

• At 4:48 p.m. Friday, JPD arrested Deryk Lepoidevin, 34, in the 8700 block of Glacier Highway for shoplifting.

• At 8:54 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 8100 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of a shoplift. Investigation continues.

• At 3:32 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 8700 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of shoplifting from the Nugget Mall. Investigation continues.

• At 4:55 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Christian Thomas Knapp, 23, in the 8700 block of Glacier Highway for larceny after he allegedly stole merchandise estimated at $660 from Sportsman’s Warehouse. Knapp was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Theft

• At 3:59 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 300 block of Seward Street to investigate the report of a theft in the downtown area. Investigation continues.

• At 8:02 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road to investigate the report of a stolen iPhone.

Vandalism

• At 9:21 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the 8400 block of Thunder Mountain Road to investigate the report of vandalism that damaged a car window.

Warrant arrest

• At 3:01 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Calvin Boord, 48, on Douglas Highway on a warrant for failing to appear in court. He was taken to LCCC and bail was set at $2,500.

• At 4:31 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested William Eric Moy Jr., 24, in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard on four outstanding JPD warrants. Moy was taken to LCCC.

Wildlife violation

• On Friday, Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Juneau Post, issued Juneau resident Michael Kowalcik, 41, a $310 citation for making a false statement on a license application. An investigation revealed that Kowalcik had obtained a resident 5A low-income license in 2017 despite not having lived in Alaska for a year at the time. The citation was issued in the Juneau District Court.
