John Hepburn Danielsen

 

John Hepburn Danielsen, died in his sleep on Oct. 18, 2011. He was 66.

At the time of his death John was in treatment for hemochromotosis and subsequent liver cancer at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Ariz.

A naval architect and engineer, John worked many years in Juneau and Anchorage. From the 1970s until recently, John was employed by the state of Alaska and several private companies.

He is survived by a sister, brother-in-law and many other family members.

John’s ashes will be put to sea at a family gathering in 2012.
