Richard “Dick” Michael Miller


Richard “Dick” Michael Miller died Jan. 5, 2012. He was 55.

Born in North Dakota, to Joan and LeRoy Miller, Dick was raised in Montana and Alaska. He spent his entire life commercial fishing with his dad, brothers, Larry, Norman, Ray and David (Dobbs). Dick met, and later married Linda Brunette. They had three children, Blake, Lane and Spencer.

Dick enjoyed fishing with his family all throughout Southeast Alaska and the Gulf and retired doing what he loved.

He is survived by his wife Linda Brunette, sons Blake, Lane (Tara) and Spencer Miller, mother Joan, siblings Larry, Norman, Ray, Marion (Rory Bifoss) and several other family members.

A celebration of Miller’s life is scheduled from 2-5 p.m. Saturday at the Moose Lodge, 8335 Airport Blvd. Please bring a light appetizer or dish to share if you can.
