Sandra Kay Gelber

 

Sandra Kay Gelber, born in Ashtabula, Ohio, died May 4, 2014, at the age of 61 in Juneau.

Gelber most recently worked at Bartlett Memorial Hospital and was the owner of Haven Bay Physical Therapy, serving Sitka and outlying Southeast Alaska communities. She attended the University of Dayton and Boston University Sargent School of Physical Therapy.

She is survived by her husband Timothy Riley; children William and Catherine Riley; sisters Cheron Gilber and identical twin Susan Ott; and cousins Bob and Carol Bebout. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and Louse Gelber of Clearwater, Fla.

A service in Juneau will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on June 5 at the McPhetres Hall at Holy Trinity. There will be a potluck.

A service in Sitka will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on June 7 at Allen Auditorium, Sitka Fine Arts Campus. A potluck will follow.
