Margaret N. Boone Wild
Margaret N. Boone Wild passed away on Nov. 29, 2015. She was 91 years old.
She was born in Olympia, Washington. She met her future husband of 62 years, Warren Wild, when they were in first grade, and they married in 1946 after he returned from service in the U.S. Navy. The family has made Alaska their home since 1960. Margaret was active in gardening, berry picking and rock collecting.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband.
She is survived by her children, Bob and his wife Gretchen Keiser, Linda Wild, Jim and his wife Mary Jo Lord Wild and JoAnne and her wife Ruth Ritz Wild; her grandchildren, Byron, Wolf, Johanna, Liana, Alexei, Omen, Marlie and Serena, as well as nine great-grandchildren and “adopted” daughter Rosemarie Alexander and her husband Dick Isett; her dog, Colby.
A celebration of life will be held on Margaret’s birthday, April 22, 2016, at the family home at 9030 Atlin Drive. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend. A complete obituary will be published prior to the ceremony with details of the event.
The family requests no flowers but donations may be made in her name to Hospice and Home Care of Juneau.
