Ellen Elizabeth Blanchard
Ellen Elizabeth Blanchard of Venice, Florida, passed away on Jan. 12, 2016. She was 72 years old.
She was an alumni of Eastern Michigan University and a teacher for 20 years in Alaska.
She is survived by her son, Andy Egeland, and his wife, Valerie Egeland, and her many grandchildren. Her family said she had a smile and a laugh they will never forget.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 6 at 10 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church 7750 S. Beneva Road, Sarasota, Florida 34238.
