Jerry Edward Hauf died in January 2017 at age 77.
Hauf was born in Missoula, Montana on May 1, 1939 to Arthur L. and Cara E. Hauf. He was raised in Missoula and graduated from Missoula County High School in 1958.
Hauf lived in several places during his lifetime, most recently Alaska and Guam. He enjoyed cars, computers, gardening, a little golf and even judging rhubarb pie baking contests.
Hauf is survived by daughters Kim Smith of Hesperia, California, Marla Burgess of Plains, Montana, Shawnna Holcomb of Spokane, Washington and Tiara Ward of Juneau; a son, Scott Hauf of Spokane, Washington; and a sister, Dixie Swanson of Great Falls. He was preceded in death by his parents.
