James Everett Buchanan died on April 21, 2017, at the age of 79.
He attended Juneau-Douglas High School and worked for the Teamsters Union as an electrician.
He is survived by his wife Joanne Buchanan; Sister Mary Ann; children Debb Buchannan Lyon (Jerry), Jeff Buchanan, Tonya Swafford and Gaysha Smidt; grandchildren Taylor and Austin Lyon.
He is preceded in death by his son Timmy; grandson Lance Moore; sister Darlene Stephens and his parents Beatrice and Everett Buchanan.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 29, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Madras, Oregon.
