Nickolas Joseph Beers died Oct. 13, 2017. He was 31 years old.
Nickolas called Juneau his home for the last seven years, and was a longtime roommate of Kip Martin at the Channel View Apartments. In recent years, he was a well-known and liked local entrepreneur (street vendor). He was often seen riding his electric skateboard through town with his good friend Jackie.
Nickolas attended Shorewood High School in Shoreline, Washington, where he grew up.
Nickolas is survived by his daughter, Amirah Jenkins; brother, Reuben Beers; mother, Janet Gordon-Thatcher and father, Donald Beers.
Services will be held on Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. at Beck’s Funeral Home in Edmonds, Washington.
