Lou Nathanson

This New York City native moved to Alaska in 1977. Lou Nathanson has opened for Christine Lavin, Bill Morrissey, Brian Bowers, and Suzy Roche. Lou's works have been used in highly acclaimed programs such as NPR's 'Weekend Edition', 'Car Talk', and 'Talk of the nation'. You can sample more of Lou's work at alaskamusicartists.com

Kim Beggs

Sofa Kings

Three songs from the Juneau quartet of Albert McDonnell, Patrick Murphy, Bob Banghart and Eric Holle (they describe themselves as "When Cab Calloway meets Gene Vincent at Tom Waits' house"). They will perform during this year's Folk Festival at 8:45 p.m. Sunday, April 18.

Foghorn String Band
