Just think of all the wasted man hours and tax dollars that were spent fight a unbeatable fight. Times have changed. Its not forcing anyone to use marijuana, just so that the people who and are over the legal age can in thier own homes. Regulations would most likely be placed, but those should be placed by the people with common sense and not a bunch of aging people who still thing red hair is a sign of the devil.
Let us not get confused with the facts, it is the allegations that are the most important around here!
In my opinion it is no worse than alcohol; Some research indicates it is less harmful. If it is regulated like alcohol then it is something that citizens should have legal access to. I believe legalizing marijuana would also dampen some illegal trafficking, in marijuana at least.
Hell yeah I will. And then I'm going to work on opening a marijuana & single malt scotch/play in the woods lodge for folks from less enlightened states to come and stay.
Marijuana tourism could be huge. People flock to Amsterdam specifically for that reason.
Legalization and taxing it makes sense. It would reduce or eliminate marijuana smuggling, reduce government resources spent on enforcing unnecessary laws, free up prison space for violent offenders who do need to be incarcerated, provide additional tax revenue and probably still lower prices to marijuana consumers.
