Winter Aubade

Winter Aubade

By Anna Cramer

above the mountains that fortify our city —

Where it scarcely grazes their peaks,

traverses their contours,

waivers and falls behind Troy into Stephens passage.

Oh! Our Salvation!

Such is the season’s fleeting affair.
