Debate needed between Parnell and French

This past week, Sen. Hollis French challenged the Governor to a public debate over reducing taxes on the oil industry in Alaska. I hope such a debate takes place soon so that Sen. French and the Governor can explain and provide evidence to support their differing opinions. That way, once the facts are out among the voters, we can then contact our representatives with our opinions and suggestions.

If the debate is contained or limited to only the Legislative committees, many voters may never see or hear the evidence. We need to have that proposed open and public debate.
