You can certainly tell spring is here, the birds are singing, the bees are buzzing, and the motorcycles are rumbling. Yes, the bikes are back out on the road, so please drivers, watch out for motorcycles. Motorists should perform visual checks for motorcycles by checking mirrors and turning their heads to look in blind spots before they enter or exit a lane of traffic, and look twice before entering intersections. Motorcyclists have responsibilities, too; we should be alert to other drivers, keep out of their blind spots, make ourselves visible, and choose to ride safe. And for all of us, we should never drive or ride impaired or distracted. So remember drivers, please share the road and watch out for motorcycles so we can enjoy the ride.

Great letter Dan, I would also love it if motorcyclists would use turning signals and make sure there is plenty of room between other cars and them when they are switching lanes. I've been started so many times when someone is 5 feet off my bumper cause they are squeezing through.
