• Pollution

• Destroying a year-round creek — was a water supply at one time

• Safety — for all

• Noise — During construction and MORE IMPORTANTLY, AFTER COMPLETION

• Traffic — During construction and MORE IMPORTANTLY, AFTER COMPLETION

• Parking — Not enough being provided for rental units

• Site protection for The Crest Condominium Homeowners

• Hazards —Driving, walking for children, the impaired, and motorists

• Congestion for all

All public housing projects in Juneau have their own road to them, off a main road. The same as well for current, Orca Point, Alaska Housing Development Corporation, Chinook and Coho Park —to name a few larger, income-based housing projects.

•Not the case at Vista Drive.

40 units, 120-140 people? Exactly how many people will be stuffed in them?

More units than the Crest Condo homeowners have. More than twice as many people in this small area of land. Come, walk it to see what we are talking about.

Ask yourself why a town of 32,000 requires so much low income based housing?

CBJ has recently changed zoning and codes to allow the potential for 16,200 being built.
