The real Mark Begich

Mark Begich is the sole member of the Senate who didn’t graduate college, and why not? Because his mother was a widow working hard to take care of six children. A young Mark Begich, instead of going to an expensive university on the East Coast, stayed in Anchorage and worked hard to help support his mother and siblings. That’s the Mark Begich we won’t hear about in the media, the young man who sacrificed his own personal ambitions for his family and worked his way up through a series of odd jobs to become a successful entrepreneur. This election has already turned ugly, with Begich being called a sellout and a spineless lackey for the Obama Administration. So I’d like to ask everyone to remember who Mark Begich really is: an independent minded, hardworking, lifelong Alaskan.
