Choice in health care

Naturopathic health care in Juneau changed my life.  I’ve coped with chronic health problems for 6 years — primarily fatigue.  Conventional medical doctors were not able to help.  However, consulting with our naturopathic physicians, and using the full range of natural medicines at their disposal (especially bio-identical hormones), I’ve been able to keep my life going.  Without the benefit of their professional expertise, I would not be able to function effectively as a part of this wonderful community.

Intelligent, free-thinking citizens should have the right to choose what kind of healthcare they use.  I do not want to have synthetic drugs and surgery available as my only options in Juneau because the local naturopaths are compelled to move elsewhere in order to practice to the full extent of their training.

Governor Parnell, please do not allow the ASMA to push naturopaths out of business and deprive us of the freedom to choose.
