Outdoors articles useful tool for students

I’m a 6th grade teacher at Unalaska City School, and have been using one of Mrs. Mary Willson’s “On the Trails” articles for the past two years in my class. We study plant and animal adaptations and her article from June 22, 2012 about Carnivorous Plants has been especially helpful in relating our topic of plant adaptations to our lives in Alaska. I just wanted to contact her and say Thank You for all of the “On the Trails” articles, but especially for the Carnivorous Plants. It really helps the students (as with all of the readers) to relate these concepts to their daily lives, and think outside of the box that is the school classroom. So, thank you, Mrs. Willson, from both me and my 6th graders!
