Letter to the Editor: Thanks, Bartlett, for keeping us on schedule

This letter is a commendation and thank you to the staff of Bartlett Regional Hospital’s Emergency Department for a quick and efficient effort to keep two senior travelers on schedule with travel plans. My husband and I flew into Juneau from Anchorage and when in our motel for the night discovered an essential medication had been left behind in Anchorage, and the ferry to take us to Bellingham, Wash., was pulling out before dawn. After investigating alternatives the quickest thing we could do was go to the hospital. Knowing how busy emergency rooms could be we were impressed with the speed with which Dr. McPherson and his staff got a new medication for us so we wouldn’t miss the ferry. We enjoyed our visit to Alaska and will remain impressed with its medical services.
