Letter: Continue funding Farm to School program

My name is Patrick Marshall. I am a 16 year old sophomore at Craig High School and a youth trainer for Alaska Youth for Environmental Action. I am advocating for continued funding for the Farm To School program budget item, which brings farming and nutrition-based education into the school system. I believe in this budget item because it brings knowledge about where food comes from and how to eat healthy foods to our young people. I strongly encourage that the legislative body should take action for the future of all Alaskans because this will benefit us all greatly in the future.
