Letter: No ACA repeal without replacement

I am a college student on a tight income, and health insurance has been one of my family’s biggest monthly costs. Being able to buy insurance through the Obamacare exchange lowered our health insurance costs by more than half, while providing more coverage than we had before. I need to know what Congress plans to do about our health care system so we can budget accordingly. If they take away our health insurance subsidy without a plan for replacing it, our health insurance costs will double overnight.

Getting a college education in Alaska is expensive, and so is paying for health insurance. I hope Congress won’t play politics with my health care, but if they do, I at least hope they’ll let us know what their plan is.
