Why I am running for the U.S. House of Representatives

Hello, everyone.

I would first like to thank the people of Juneau and Alaska for the early support in my campaign for the U.S. House of Representatives. I will answer this question now: why am I running?

I am running for one reason: us. It is about us and always will be. I will cover a multitude of issues throughout my campaign, too many to mention now, but will lay out in a future social media campaign.

I am concerned about where our state and country is going now, and I think as everybody agrees we are in precarious position for common sense has seemed to have gone by the wayside in Washington, D.C. I will be running and already am as a write-in Independent candidate against my opponent Don Young and whoever will win the Democratic primary.

I will also pledge now not to run a negative personal campaign against my opponents and ask they do the same for it is merely a distraction from the real issue at hand. I will say this as I embark on this: it will be all up to you. I am offering a choice and a whole new level of political thinking and that what Democracy is about.

Thank you, everyone.
