Applications available for Juneau School District optional programs

Juneau schools have three unique optional programs open to all students that are free and have transportation. There are limited openings, most in early grades for the Charter School, Montessori and Tlingit Culture. Applications are through a lottery and due by April 15 for early placement.

Interested families are expected to visit the programs before applying to learn more. More information about the programs or the lottery is available online at, or by calling Susan at 523-1704.
