The forum is a regular event sponsored by the Central Council of Tlingit-Haida Tribes of Alaska and the ANB Camp 2.
It will be held at the Alaska Native Brotherhood Hall at 320 West Willoughby Ave. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., with the program beginning at noon and expected to last an hour.
The event is free and open to the public, with lunch provided by Abby’s Kitchen & Catering available for $10.

I wonder they will have guts to ask Gov. Parnell why Parnell will not debate Senator French on HB110, Parnell's $2 billion a year give away to the oil companies?
Parnell Addressed?
Oh boy! Open Forum! Not able to attend however I am not out on the loop at the questions asked of our Govenor. I have questions of my own.
1) Why is it that Juneau is not the best place for medical care for our families? Is it that Juneau is unattractive to locate to and administer the health care that we desperately need in order to better our quality of life? That our taxes and our way of getting outside resources to us for use is so expensive that it is cheaper to send our loved ones out of the city and sometimes more than often out of state? hmmm....here's another thought....WHY am to send my child to a facility in order to get the help that he needs for 6 months to 3 Years? I have borned him, I have struggled with him thoughout his 14 years of life and I have made certian he is getting an education that will squeek him by. Taking children away from families sends the wrong message to families that are struggling hard enough as it is in order to learn together is healing together and stays stronger as a family unit. There should be no seperation of families that work hard to keep them together and instill family values. He/she will not develope that in a facility on his own no matter what. Visiting your family member in a facililty that has its' own rules and guidelines in order to earn family visitation is earned. Not free will.
2) A repeated and knownsex offender is out in the streets amongst us. Planning and plotting his next victim. He was in behind bars. IN MAXIMUM SECURITY! He got out finally after 3 months or less and was only PATTED on the hand and let go with a misdemeanor offense. He is a FELON! what happened there? I am not sure maybe the next victim and their family will have the answer for that one. Sex offenders.....beware. Abusers and family violence? What have learned? anything yet? I missed the lesson.
