JUNEAU EMPIRE
A day of honor recognizing E.L. “Bob” Bartlett’s work for Alaska’s statehood will be celebrated at 7 p.m. today at Centennial Hall. Alaska Living History will give an encore performance of the Bob Bartlett program, featuring John H. Venables, that was presented in October 2009 in the James Madison Building at the Library of Congress.
The program lasts approximately one hour, and also has a question-and-answer session.

John Venables looks through a window at an interesting time in Alaska's history and shows us what it was like. I have never come away from one of his presentations without having learned something new about Alaska and its people.
