Eaglecrest Ski Area has received a marketing award at the National Ski Areas Association’s annual conference in Carlsbad, Calif. Marketing awards are presented annually to ski areas nationwide to recognize the best in ski area marketing campaigns that ultimately help grow the sports of skiing and snowboarding. Eaglecrest won for the best Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month Campaign.
Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month is a national effort organized by the snow sports industry to get families and friends outside in the winter. More than 300 resorts in 34 states participated in this season’s Learn to Snowboard Month Campaign with over 75,000 lessons given nationwide.
In a release, Jeffra Clough, director of sales, marketing and the Snowsports School at Eaglecrest, said, “We are proud to receive this honor from the winter sports industry. Our goal each season is to provide opportunities for everyone in the community to try skiing or snowboarding. Our Learn to Ski and Snowboard Campaign highlights how much we value new skiers and snowboarders.”
