Photos: Landslide on Perseverance Trail

A large landslide buried a portion of the Perseverance Trail on Friday evening. Large boulders, trees and earth are shown covering the trail just past the final bridge, about 300 feet from the wooden platform at the trail’s end. The usually clear waters are now running muddy down the length of the trail. Fresh mountain streams and creeks still are clear and offer a cool refreshment, including Granite Creek, until they hit the dirt-strewn slide waters.
