A hit-and-run driver sent a pedestrian to Bartlett Regional hospital with non-life-threatening injuries Tuesday night, according to a release from JPD.
The crash took place at about 11:10 p.m. Tuesday in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway, the release states. The pedestrian, a 70-year-old man, was crossing Glacier Highway outside of a crosswalk when a blue sports utility vehicle traveling outbound collided with him. Witnesses said the SUV slowed after the impact, then accelerated rapidly and left the area, the release states.
