Assault

• At 6:45 p.m. Saturday, John Paul III, 35, was arrested for assault in the 100 block of Marine Way. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• At 6:45 p.m. Saturday, Lorraine Paul, 30, was arrested for assault in the 100 block of Marine Way. She was taken to LCCC.

• At 9:29 p.m. Saturday, a 44-year-old woman reported being assaulted by a 39-year-old man.

Fire

• At 12:19 a.m. Saturday, a patient was taken from Bartlett Regional Hospital to Juneau International Airport

• At 9:50 a.m. Saturday, a female patient was taken from Franklin Street to BRH for further care.

• At 10:07 a.m. Saturday, Capital City Fire and Rescue responded to an intoxicated patient on Ferry Way.

• At 10:31 a.m. Saturday, a female patient was taken from 12th street to BRH for treatment of breathing difficulty.

• At 11:29 a.m. Saturday, a male patient was taken from Salmon Creek Lane to BRH for treatment of chest pain.

• At 2:04 p.m. Saturday, CCFR responded to an unresponsive male patient on Marine Way.

• At 6:10 p.m. Saturday, a male patient was taken from Franklin Street to BRH for treatment of cardiac arrest.

• At 6:11 p.m. Saturday, a male patient was taken from Glacier Highway to BRH for treatment of chest pain.

• At 9:09 p.m. Saturday, a patient was taken from BRH to JIA.

• At 11:03 p.m. Saturday, an unresponsive male patient was taken from Franklin Sstreet to BRH.

• At 11:04 a.m. Saturday, CCFR responded to a malfunctioning carbon monoxide detector.

• At 9:22 a.m. Sunday, a patient was taken from JIA to BRH.

• At 11:01 a.m. Sunday, CCFR responded to a fire alarm on Mount Roberts Street. An investigation revealed there was no fire.

• At 1:56 p.m. Sunday, CCFR responded to a female patient on Sixth Street after a fall.

• At 2 p.m. Sunday, a female patient was taken from Glacier Highway to BRH after a fall.

• At 2:16 p.m. Sunday, CCFR responded to a female patient on Glacier Spur Road after a fall.

• At 3:48 p.m. Sunday, a male patient was taken from Egan Bridge at Gold Creek to BRH after a fall.

• At 4:51 p.m. Sunday, CCFR responded to a fire alarm on Shaune Drive. The alarm was unintentional.

• At 10:32 p.m. Sunday, CCFR responded to two patients after a kayak accident on North Douglas Island.

• At 10:35 p.m. Sunday, a male patient was taken from Front Street to BRH after an assault.

Fishing without a license

• On Saturday, Bradley P. Street, 19, was cited for sport fishing without a valid sport fish license at the Douglas Island Pink and Chum hatchery.

Fraud

• At 6:41 p.m. Saturday, a 62-year-old woman reported credit card fraud.

Service

• At 3:04 a.m. Sunday, the Juneau Police Department served a summons on a 25-year-old man in the 8700 block of Glacier Highway.

Theft

• At 12:42 p.m. Saturday, a 27-year-old man reported his vehicle stolen in the 8400 block of Thunder Mountain Road. The vehicle was later recovered.

• At 6:03 p.m. Saturday, A 43-year-old woman reported her vehicle had been gone through and items taken from it in the 2500 block of David Street.

Vandalism

• At 7:47 a.m. Sunday, a 28-year-old man reported the window of his vehicle had been broken out in the 8600 block of Airport Boulevard.

• At 8:22 a.m. Sunday, a 24-year-old woman reported a lawn chair had been set on fire in the 2800 block of Douglas Highway.

Warrant arrest

• At 9:40 p.m. Saturday, a 14-year-old girl was arrested on an outstanding warrant. She was taken to Johnson Youth Center.

• At 9:48 p.m. Saturday, Tyler Allen, 18, was arrested in the 1800 block of Northwood Drive on a warrant to apprehend and detain. He was taken to JYC.

• At 12:52 a.m. Sunday, Michael Trull, 20, was arrested in the 1800 block of Northwood Drive on two outstanding warrants charging failure to appear. He was taken to LCCC.

• At 12:52 a.m. Sunday, Howard Braman, 45, was arrested in the 1800 block of Northwood Drive on an outstanding warrant charging failure to appear. He was taken to LCCC.

This day in Juneau history: Feb. 19

On Feb. 19, 1987, Gov. Steve Cowper and the Alaska Legislature formed a budget plan for the upcoming year. The House Finance Committee passed a bill giving Gov. Cowper permission to spend the $428 million reserve fund, and representatives described meetings with Gov. Cowper “wonderful”.
