Fire causes damage to TMHS turf field

A small fire caused about $500 in damage to the artificial turf field at Thunder Mountain High School on Monday, according to the Juneau Police Department.

According to the JPD website, police received a report that someone had set fire to the field at 8:51 a.m.

The Empire has no further information available at this time.
