Natalie Cosgrove, 10, and other members of the Alaska Youth Choir practice at the Northern Light United Church for an upcoming performance in Denver. The choir, directed by Missouri Smyth, will be participating in the “Sing a Mile High Choral Festival” later this week. Beginning at 7 p.m. tonight, they’ll be performing selections of their tour repertoire for family, friends and supporters at Northern Light United Church. During rehearsals the group has also been working with local Tlingit dance group leader Lyle James on an Entrance Dance for the Denver performance.
