Ryan hired as SEARHC POW behavioral health supervisor

The SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium Behavioral Health Division is pleased to announce the hiring of Thomas P. “Pete” Ryan as a behavioral health clinician at the Alicia Roberts Medical Center and regional behavioral health supervisor for Prince of Wales Island.

Ryan earned a bachelor of social work degree from Lewis-Clark State College (now called Lewis-Clark State University) in Lewiston, Idaho, and a master of social work degree from Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Wash. He holds a Licensed Clinical Social Worker credential from the Alaska Board of Social Work Examiners.

Ryan comes back to SEARHC after working the past four years in children’s mental health with Community Connections in Craig. He worked as a behavioral health clinician at the Alicia Roberts Medical Center from 2005-07. Before that he worked with Idaho Child Protective Services. He also is an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Ryan’s clinical interests include domestic violence and child welfare.
