Perseverance Trail closure scheduled

JUNEAU — The Perseverance Trail will be closed to public access for maintenance from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 23.

According to a press release, Trail Mix Inc. and City and Borough of Juneau Parks personnel will be using heavy machinery to remove two rock slides from the trail. Recreational gold panners are asked to avoid the portion of Gold Creek below the trail.
