The Juneau Police Department recovered more than $6,000 worth of musical instruments from a stream near Kiowa Drive on Sunday morning, according to a release from the department.
An investigation revealed the instruments belonged to Floyd Dryden Middle School. The school had been broken into and the instruments taken from it, the release states.
JPD officers recovered the damaged instruments from the stream. They are valued at $6,600.
