“You know, I’m just rooting for everyone. Everyone has such a great talent, and I can’t pick just one because they all deserve it,” Graceman told KATH in an interview that will air today on the station’s the 6 p.m. newscast.

According to KATH, Graceman is inspired by the music she listens to and would like to work with some of the artists whose music she has performed on the show.

“I would love to work with Alicia Keys, she is a great singer, artist; she is my idol and I would really like to work with her someday” said Graceman. She performed Keys’ “If I Ain’t Got You” on her debut on the show at the Atlanta auditions in June.

Backstage butterflies? “Well I always get a little bit nervous, but nerves are good; and I just think about all the fans out there, all of Alaska watching and I want to make them proud. So that’s what I think about when I go on stage.”

KATH-TV is on cable channel 15, Graceman’s performance airs at 8 p.m. tonight. Four of tonight’s 10 contestants will advance by viewer vote to show’s the live finale next week.
