Assault

• At 5:33 p.m. Sunday, Burl Beddo, 46 was arrested for assault in the 200 block of Franklin Street. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• At 9:51 a.m. Monday, a 63-year-old man reported being assaulted in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

Death

• At 5:56 a.m. Monday, the Juneau Police Department investigated the death of a 28-year-old woman in the 2200 block of Fritz Cove Road.

Domestic violence

• At 12:39 p.m. Sunday, a 36-year-old man was arrested for third-degree criminal mischief. He was taken to LCCC.

Driving without a license

• At 7:55 p.m. Sunday, Corwin Allen Vavalis, 23, was cited for driving without a license in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.

Fire and medical

• At 4:18 a.m. Friday, a man was taken from Northwood Drive to Bartlett Regional Hospital for treatment of bleeding and vomiting.

• At 10:55 a.m. Friday, a woman in labor was taken from Postal way to BRH.

• At 12:23 p.m. Friday, a man with abdominal pain was taken from Glacier Highway to BRH.

• At 1:06 p.m. Friday, an unconscious man was taken from Douglas Highway to BRH.

• At 1:11 p.m. Friday, Capital City Fire and Rescue treated a patient with general illness on Mendenhall Loop Road.

• At 2:07 p.m. Friday, a patient with chest pain was taken from Glacier Highway to BRH.

• At 2:15 p.m. Friday, CCFR investigated a malfunctioning fire alarm on Marine Way. An investigation revealed there was no fire.

• At 2:31 p.m. Friday, CCFR investigated smoke or an odor on Gastineau Avenue. An investigation revealed there was no fire.

• At 2:54 p.m. Friday, CCFR treated an unresponsive man on Marine Way.

• At 3:49 p.m. Friday, CCFR investigated carbon monoxide levels on Glacier Highway. The levels were found to be within normal range.

• At 4:03 p.m. Friday, CCFR responded to an intoxicated patient on Franklin Street.

• At 5:13 p.m. Friday, CCFR responded to a female patient with chest pain on Commercial Boulevard.

• At 5:57 p.m. Friday, a man was taken from BRH to a private residence.

• At 6:09 p.m. Friday, a man who had been shot with a stun gun was taken to BRH.

• At 6:54 p.m. Friday, a patient was taken from BRH to Juneau International Airport.

• At 4:36 a.m. Saturday, CCFR responded to a malfunctioning fire alarm on Franklin Street. An investigation revealed there was no fire.

• At 10:25 a.m. Saturday, CCFR investigated an open burn on Timberline Court. The unpermitted burn was extinguished.

• At 12:11 p.m. Saturday, a man was taken from Cinema Drive to BRH for treatment of trauma.

• At 2:30 p.m. Saturday, a woman was taken from St. Ann’s Drive to BRH after a fall.

• At 2:32 p.m. Saturday, a man was taken from Glacier Highway to BRH for treatment of breathing difficulty.

• At 3:33 p.m. Saturday, a woman was taken from Salmon Creek Lane to BRH for treatment of shortness of breath.

• At 9:51 p.m. Saturday, CCFR responded to a woman with a laceration on Churchill Way.

• At 2:55 a.m. Sunday, CCFR responded to a malfunctioning fire alarm on Marine Way. An investigation revealed there was no fire.

• At 5:18 a.m. Sunday, a man was taken from BRH to JIA.

• At 5:56 a.m. Sunday, CCFR responded to a dead person on Fritz Cove Road. The scene was transferred to the Juneau Police Department.

• At 10:27 a.m. Sunday, CCFR responded to a man with general weakness on Raven Road.

• At 10:44 a.m. Sunday, CCFR responded to a vehicle fire on Douglas Highway. The fire was extinguished.

• At 11:29 a.m. Sunday, a man with a medical equipment issue was taken from Marine Way to BRH.

• At 11:35 a.m. Sunday, CCFR responded to a fire alarm on Distin Avenue. An investigation revealed there was no fire.

• At 1:10 p.m. Sunday, a woman was taken from BRH to JIA following EKG abnormalities.

• At 1:22 p.m. Sunday, a woman was taken from Glacier Highway to BRH for treatment of abdominal pain.

• At 2:05 p.m. Sunday, CCFR responded to a fire alarm on Mount Roberts Street. An investigation revealed there was no fire.

• At 5:39 p.m. Sunday, a man with acute coronary syndrome was taken from BRH to JIA.

• At 6:43 p.m. Sunday, a man suffering from a possible stroke was taken from ‘D’ Street to BRH.

• At 8 p.m. Sunday a man with lower limb numbness was taken from BRH to JIA

• At 8:48 p.m. Sunday, CCFR responded to a malfunctioning fire alarm on Douglas Highway. An investigation revealed there was no fire.

• At 12:38 a.m. Monday, a man suffering a seizure was taken from Hospital drive to BRH.

• At 7:47 a.m. Monday, a woman was taken from Cinema Drive to BRH for treatment of breathing difficulty.

• At 8:34 a.m. Monday, a woman was taken from Franklin Street to BRH for treatment of breathing difficulty.

• At 8:45 a.m. Monday, a man was taken from Yandukin Drive to BRH for treatment of abdominal pain.

• At 9:39 a.m. Monday, CCFR responded to a non-injury vehicle accident on Glacier Highway.

• At 10:25 a.m. Monday, a patient was taken from BRH to JIA after an emergency medical incident.

• At 10:35 a.m. Monday, CCFR responded to a non-injury vehicle accident on Glacier Highway.

• At 11:45 a.m. Monday, CCFR responded to a fire alarm on Mount Roberts Street. An investigation revealed there was no fire.

• At 2:17 p.m. Monday, a man was taken from BRH to a private residence.

• At 2:33 p.m. Monday, a man was taken from Franklin Street to BRH after being assaulted.

• At 5:38 p.m. Monday, a woman was taken from Valley Boulevard to BRH for further care.

• At 8:49 p.m. Monday, a woman was taken from Postal way to BRH after taking excessive medication.

• At 9:26 p.m. Monday, a woman was taken from BRH to a private residence.

• At 9:27 p.m. Monday, CCFR responded to a man needing in home assistance on 12th Street.

• At 9:28 p.m. Monday, a man was taken from Northwood Drive to BRH for treatment of shortness of breath.

• At 10:55 p.m. Monday, a man was taken from Distin Avenue to BRH for treatment of a possible seizure.

• At 11:17 p.m. Monday, CCFR responded to a carbon monoxide alarm on Main Street. An investigation found the levels to be within a normal range.

Larceny

• At 10:06 p.m. Sunday, Corwin Allen Vavalis, 23, was arrested for larceny in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. He was taken to LCCC.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 3:56 p.m. Sunday, a 53-year-old man reported his vehicle was struck by another vehicle in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway. The 53-year-old man’s vehicle sustained an estimated $1,500 in damage.

Theft

• At 12:10 p.m. Sunday, a 54-year-old man reported his wallet and prescription medication stolen in the 6600 block of Douglas Highway. He also reported fraudulent charges on his credit card totaling $130.

• At 6:08 p.m. Sunday, a cell phone was reported stolen in the 9100 block of Cinema Drive.

Vandalism

• At 10:25 p.m. Sunday, JPD received several reports of residences in Mendenhall Valley being shot with paintballs.

• At 9:12 a.m. Monday, a 51-year-old woman reported her house in the 9000 block of Gee Street had been shot with paintballs.

• At 11:19 a.m. Monday, a 73-year-old woman reported her house in the 3900 block of Portage Boulevard had been shot with paintballs.
