The Juneau Police Department received a report at 4:09 p.m. Wednesday of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Glacier Highway and Anka Street. JPD and Capital City Fire and Rescue responded.
Investigation determined Juneau resident Samuel Trivette, 67, driving a 1996 Honda Accord, struck a 23-year-old woman in the crosswalk while she was crossing Anka Street. The woman was transported to Bartlett Regional Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Trivette was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
