Gannon joins Center medical staff

The SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium recently hired Dr. Robert Gannon, to join its medical staff at the Alicia Roberts Medical Center in Klawock.

Gannon comes to SEARHC from Utah, where he spent the past 15 years working at the Salt Lake Veterans Affairs Hospital and also spent the past five years working in the emergency room at Mountain West Medical Center in Tooele. Before that, he spent 10 years working in the emergency room at the Salt Lake Regional Medical Center and three years with the emergency room at the Duchesne County/Uintah Basin Medical Center in Roosevelt. Gannon is board certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Gannon earned his medical degree from the St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo., and completed a residency in emergency medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center/Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
