Police on Wednesday released more information regarding a report of an Oct. 18 stabbing at Coho Park Apartments.
A 34-year-old woman residing in the complex off Mendenhall Loop Drive had called 911 to report an unknown assailant had stabbed her in the left leg.
A police investigation determined the wound was self-inflicted, though it’s not certain whether it was intentional or accidental, Juneau Police Department Chief Greg Browning said by phone on Wednesday.
JPD has forwarded the case to the City Attorney’s office with a recommended charge of filing a false report to law enforcement authorities.

If she lied about it and implicated someone in the stabbing, I say book her. There are to many people that file false reports to "get" someone.
Is she mental?
If she's mental, get her help and maybe she'll be less of a strain on taxpayers later in life.
If she's not mental, charge her. Why even waffle about this? Isn't filing a false police report a felony?
I'm no pro, but I see no
I'm no pro, but I see no apparent motive. I say she's got some serious attention seeking disorders. Get her some help, and be done with her. I'm with Jo, I don't want to waste my taxdollars on those BS shinanigans
